This is a really deep shade of verdant green tourmaline. The color is a true green, not really teal, and not the normally more muted color green seen in common tourmaline. It has a very subtle bluish hue, but it is not indicolite. I've tried my best to capture the color in these pictures.
The stone is dark under normal lighting, but is transparent enough to allow it to catch the light. As you can see, it does display the internal clevage planes and healed fractures commonly seen in natural tourmaline.
